About Salon Baptiste in Duluth
Our History
Salon Baptiste is a family owned business. Robert & Cheryl initially opened the salon in 1997 on Satellite Blvd in Duluth. We moved the salon to Peachtree Industrial Blvd in 2016. Cheryl's late brother Kenneth Lanier owned "Lanier Hair Gallery" in Virginia. Ken was an inspiration as a true hair care professional who believed in continuing education. We now have more Master Cosmetologist and Master Barbers in the family including Pernell Baptiste and Picasso Fraiche. All Salon Baptiste staff is like family to us. Cheryl also has professional experience with a focus on financial business, marketing and customer service.
Continuing Education
Continued education means ongoing skill development and growth. We never stop learning new cutting and style techniques and product discoveries that improve the lives of our clients. We also realize overall health contributes to healthy beautiful shiny full heads of hair. In salon training, local classes, Premiere Orlando, Premiere Birmingham, International Beauty Show NYC, MoroccanOil Academy NYC, Redken Color Academy, Dudley, Bronner Brothers, and Keratin Complex, DreamCatchers certifcation are just a few of our engagements for advanced training.
